8 golden rules of interaction design
1. strive for consistency (managing expectation)
2. cater to universal usability
3. offer informative feedback
4. Design dialogs to yield closure (satisfaction of experience)
5. Prevent errors
6. permit easy reveral of actions
7. Support internal locus of control (especially for experienced users; balance between automation and control)
8. Reduce short-term memory load
